If you get injured or can’t work due to an illness, Klaviyo helps you protect your income through your life and disability benefits.
Life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
You’re automatically enrolled in company-paid basic life and AD&D at 1 times your salary, up to a maximum of $300,000. This policy is through Prudential.
- Life insurance: pays your designated beneficiaries a lump-sum payment in the event of your death
- Accidental death and dismemberment AD&D: If you die in an accident, AD&D pays your designated beneficiaries an additional lump-sum payment.
Disability
Short- and long-term disability through Prudential replace a portion of your income if you become ill or injured and can’t work.
Short-term disability and pay top-up
Full-time, U.S.-based Klaviyos are automatically enrolled in short-term disability.
- Short-term disability replaces 60% of your weekly earnings, up to $2,500 per week maximum, for up to 13 weeks
- Klaviyo additionally covers 40% of your income (to get to 100% replacement or 100% on-target earnings for commission-eligible roles) for the first six weeks of an approved short-term disability claim
Long-term disability
If you’re unable to work after short-term disability coverage ends, and you’re eligible for long-term disability, you’ll receive 60% of monthly earnings (up to a maximum of $10,000 per month).
